Dr. Eric Fester, MD

I went there with both of my sons, one with knee and the other shoulder. He misdiagnosed both of them. The one with the shoulder injury had surgery with Dr Fester and was still having issues and come to find out it was the wrong surgery. He had to have another surgery months later, obviously with someone else. My son with the knee issue, he had two fractures and a torn meniscus that went unnoticed. We dealt with him and the injury for months and just like my one son, he was totally wrong and ended up going somewhere else and he now needs surgery. Nice enough man and seems to care but should not be in this field. My kids could have been all clear by now and doing the sport they love if we didn't mess around with him.

I have yet to have have an appointment with Dr. Fester which hasn’t been rescheduled. Always 1-3 weeks later. One of which I had to go to his Urbana office or wait a month. And when I do finally get to see him, I don’t feel like a patient, more of an inconvenience to him. I feel very rushed and he doesn’t seem to listen to my concerns. I honestly don’t know how he justifies billing my insurance, he doesn’t do anything but waste my time.

Dr. Fester listened to my concerns and has helped me thus far and I'll be having my second surgery here in the next 5 weeks. I would recommend him.
