GREAT DR.

Dr Gaenslen's assistant incorrectly cast my son's hand. Dr Gaenslen's did not check her work. Gaenslen wanted to see my son two weeks after to check progress, but earliest available appt Gaenslen had open was five weeks out. Cast itself was only supposed to be on for four weeks. Took son to another doctor after three wks and learned Gaenslen cast hand in incorrect position. New doctor recast, and son' has to wear cast longer and attend additional physical therapy due to Gaenslen's harmful, improper casting. Dr has no communication with his staff. BE WARY

I've had two shoulder surgeries and now have a messed up shoulder, am in chronic pain, and wake up every two hours at night. When called with concerns have been dismissed by staff, very discourteous. On two occasions waited over 30 mins sitting in a room to be seen. Was sent to a physical therapist at Grafton Hospital who had me doing movements and exercises, that after a massive tear the Dr. told me to AVOID! Was there any communication between Dr. and therapist? Good luck to you. He's a very nice man, but that didn't help my shoulder. I now wake up daily in pain and shoulder and arm is crippled.

Best Doctor. Was very courteous. Great staff was great at scheduling was awrsome . great to work with told me wat he was going to do. I asked when could I drive. He said the next day. Mind u the surgery I had was in my hand. Post op I am so happy with his sewing job I'm going to barely have a scar. Love Dr. Gaeslen very nice. Will reccomend him 100 %;)

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO THANK THE DOCTOR,MY LEFT SHOULDER FEELS LIKE A BRAND NEW ONE ,I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN UNTIL I HAD SURGERY,I THINK HE IS GREAT,AND VERY CONCERNED ABOUT HIS PATIENTS,I HAVE TO GET MY RIGHT SHOULDER DONE IN DECMBER,FOR THE SAME PROBLEM,THIS MIGHT BE FUNNY TO SOME PEOPLE,BUT I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO DO THE RIGHT SHOULDER,I WOULDNT PICK ANOTHER DOCTOR IF I WAS PAID TOO,,,SO THANKS DR GAENSLEN,,NOW LETS PRAY RIGHT SHOULDER IS SMOOTH SAILING TOO,,,THIS IS A GREAT DOCTOR TO HAVE IN UR CORNER TRUST ME I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I experienced numbness in my hand which got progressively worse over the course of a year. After seeing a neurologist and several other doctors I was referred to Dr. Gaenslen. He detected a compressed nerve at my first visit. I had surgery shortly after which has completely solved the problem. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Gaenslen with any hand ailment.

Our son is a soccer goalkeeper and has had several injuries over the past five years including a broken thumb, broken shoulder and broken wrist. Dr. Gaenslen has treated each injury with great results. Our family has great respect for the doctor's knowledge, professionalism and caring demeanor.
