Having cataract surgery was the greatest mistake of my entire life, and it is irreversible.

I recommend anyone considering this eye clinic to do your research, and talk to other people including other eye doctor offices before making an appointment here. You will be surprised. These people are some of the rudest office staff I have experienced, in particular the surgical coordinator. One of the most uncompassionate people I have ever met in my life and it is very scary that she deals with people who might be looking for a little hope in getting their vision back. She will smash any hope or positive vibes you have. I recently had the worst experience I have ever had in my life dealing with these people when I was already dealing with a stressful situation with my eye. This may have been at one time THE place to go, but not anymore. A lot was done very wrong throughout my process that I didn't even know until I was told so by others including an insurance company, surgical centers, and other eye doctor's offices once my story was told. I didn't even have a consult with the… doctor before I was supposed to have cataract surgery. I went along with it because I thought that was the norm. Absolutely not! I had to ask to speak to the doctor so that I understood the process and to get a better understanding of the different lenses and what they could do for me. Please stay away especially if you have any eye issues besides just a normal eye exam and need contacts/glasses. I was in an emergency situation when I contacted this office by Googling eye doctor in Mandeville. This has taught me that even in an emergency to be very careful of who I am putting my trust in when it comes to my health.

Son visited a doc out of state and was disgusted that his problem was misdx. Went to see Eric and was impressed. Explained & had a plan. His words above when we left.

My eye is screwed up thanks to Dr, Griener. As a nurse I recommend you to do your research and go any where else! You've been warned!

My grandmother recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Griener. The staff was very thorough from the front desk, to the surgical coordinator and the billing coordinator. Dr. Griener explained the procedure in detail so that my grandmother could understand it. Surgery went great!! She had surgery at Northshore Ambulatory Surgery Center, the nurses were excellent!! My grandmother's outcome is 20/20 in her right eye and 20/30 in her left eye with 2 months of healing still left to go!!! At this time all she needs is reading glasses from the drug store!! My grandmother and the whole family is so pleased with the whole experience, we are recommending Dr. Griener to anyone that needs any eye care.

After having a ton of eye pain for over two weeks I went to see dr greiner. I have seen him for years with no issue. I decided to see him thinking he was a specialist and would know what was going on. After the exam he simply told me my eyes were just dry, that I should use reweting drops... After I told him they were giving me no relieve. I called back after a week of having more eye pain and they said they could only write me an anti inflammatory drop. I went to another doctor for a second opinion and found not only do I have bad eye allergies but I have scratches all over my eye! Dr Adema did a very through inspection and actually gave me a solution to my eye pain. I was prescribed to a steroid drop to heal my eyes. The visit to greiner office was useless. 100$ to tell me I had dry eyes... They did nothing.

As a nurse I am always asked "who would you go see?", "where do other physicians go for care?", my peers and I always refer them to Dr. Eric Griener. Personally, my family and myself have been seeing Dr. Griener for over 20 years. I can attest to his professional, and very personable care. There are not many Physicians which are available to you whenever you need them. His care goes beyond the average physician, even giving out his cell number if you should need to speak with him emergently about a problem. His staff is very courteous, the surgery center top notch and I can always get in to see him!
