Dr. Gwynn was excellent explaining the procedure both pre and post-op. He was very reassuring in his knowledge and manner. And the surgery, which was a bit complex, couldn’t have gone better. Matt Baker in the office was also a 10. The hospital staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

The worst medical nightmare I've personally ever experienced was with this Dr. I would highly consider another option if you have the ability.

I called to have a yearly exam. As a diplomat who lives over seas I do not have a doctor here in United States. Im on Hilton Head a few months for business. I called to make an appointment and they said they only take referrals. Pretty stupid policy considerate I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield. My guess is they turned away a few thousand dollars and the chance to treat someone with prostatitis. Further, my father died of prostate cancer so I’m pretty thorough at getting checked regularly. Frankly, they could’ve saved a life.... we will see as I search for a physician. Do no harm right?

Developed Prostate Cancer and Dr. Gwynn did the robotic surgery. One of the best "bedside manners" that I have ever come across. He makes you feel at ease throughout the whole process and he really cares. Surgery went great and had very little pain. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent care while I was a patient in the hospital. I was on vacation and was admitted for a kidney stone.

Dr. Gwynn did testing that wasn't necessary and put me in a lot of pain. I was sent to the hospital and Dr. Gwynn never called or came to my room. His staff is the rudest women I have ever met. Very uncaring and just plan RUDE!

My first couple of visits the wait was really long but the last couple have been much better. I agree with an earlier post that a number of the staff are very off-putting but Dr. Gwynn is worth it. He is an excellent physician! I really appreciate that he takes time to explain what's going on and to answer any questions I have without making me feel like I should know.

Excellant doctor but a long wait to see him. Dr. Gwynn really knows his stuff. Highly recommend.
