Dr. Richard R Mazo

Took my kid to him many years ago because he was the only pediatric urologist. My kid saw him on several visits snd he could not determine the problem nor could he solve the problem. I was not impressed with him at all . My kid didn’t like him at all . I dnt blame her . I didn’t care for how he talked to my kid. He was stern snd snippy. Very unprofessional And totally uncalled for . Also she Didn’t like him because he couldn’t get her better. I took her elsewhere and the dr treated her And resolved the medical problem. He should have been able to solve and treat the problem. But he didn’t. Also not only was he rude to my kid but he was rude to my mother. Neither of them was rude to him . To top it off , he didn’t help my kid get better. I had to take her To another doctor to get her diagnosed and treated. Not impressed at all .

Dr.Mazo is one of the best pediatric urologist in the savannah -Chatham area . My baby had a mega ureter and he recently performed a procedure on her to remove a blockage so that her kidney could function properly . The surgery went well and she recovering great . Smiling faces, helping hands & friendly staff .

Dr. Mazo has been dealing with my daughter since she was born, she is now 2 and has had 2 surgery’s my daughter was born with bilateral duplicated collective system. She has 2 kidneys on each side. The first time I daughter had surgery he rerouted her ureter to a stint she peed out of the bottom of her tummy also. He had to do this surgery because urine kept backing up In my daughters kidneys and cause to many kidney infections. Her second surgery she just had Friday, he had to remove a kidney and reroute that ureter to her bladder. Guys I can’t tell y’all how amazing this dr is with follow up appointments and surgery’s he is literally the only dr I trust to do surgery on my daughter. He explains everything to You and doesn’t push or force he makes sure your ready and understand everything. When in the hospital healing he makes sure he comes up and personally checks on the patient. We love Mazo and we are so glad he is my daughter dr I know she will always be taken care of. Thank you… dr. Mazo for all you have done.

Very knowledgeable and friendly

Staff friendly and professional. Dr. Mazo explained procedure and asked for my questions. He did not rush wth the exam and made me feel at ease. He followed up on results of tests. Visit could not have been better.

I can't praise this doctor enough! - he's not just a doctor; he's a caring, informative doctor who really listens to his patient. He's willing to try a different approach to treatment without requesting that you see 15 other doctors to confirm what he already knows.
