Dr. Michael John Langley

The only reason I didn’t give a one star review is that I found Dr Langley himself to be an excellent Dr and the treatment I received from him was always excellent. The low rating is 100% due to the experience I have had with the office staff. I have been a patient of Dr Langley for over 5 years and have had multiple procedures and visits due to chronic kidney stones. Every time I have a stone issue I find myself dating the same thing. Why did I not find another Dr. the staff is rude and uncaring. Again, I am a patient of theirs for years, I call in with kidney stone issues and am told the same thing...go to the emergency room, let’s us know what they say and we can see you. Did that..had 7 stones in my kidneys. Dr Langley performed a lithotripsy to break up 1 of them and charged my private insurance an ungodly amount for the procedure. 3 days later, having clear complications, call the office, told to go to the emergency room. Told her I just had a procedure done by them and she… didn’t care, treated me like a drug addict calling for pain meds that I still had, didn’t need and wasn’t using because of work. Bad enough I go to the emergency room, diagnosed with a urinary tract infection due to multiple stones being stuck. I for dr Langley’s office and am told that I didn’t have one, that’s just what the ER docs tell kidney stone patients to make them feel better. The same ER docs they made me go see. Definitely had an infection. Time passes. Call to make an appointment. Refuse to see me without going to my family Dr and getting a referral even with the fact I have been a long time patient. I hate that I have the same experience every time with a quality DR and am sure many others have had similar experiences. Don’t learn the hard way, find another Dr

Botched my tubal ligation.

Dr Langley is the best urologist in Hilton Head. His bedside manner is excellent and one gets the feeling he really cares. I would highly recommend him for prostate cancer issues. He and his partner Dr Gwynn use the latest technologies for male impotence. technology

Dr Langley told me about treatment plan. Julie set up appointments and confirmed what Dr Langley said. Later, another of his staff staff claims I misunderstood. Treatment not given on date of appointment. Will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

poor staff ...front office worker BAD attitude...lost appt and laughed it off and made us wait over an hour.....this has happened more than once..

Terrific doctor with great staff...

Very personable. He takes the time to listen to you and will discuss issues with you without feeling like he is pushing you out the door (great bedside manner). He works hard to solve your problem and deals with emergencies in a very prompt manner.
