Dr. Maurizio Buscarini

Their office staff is Top of the line. Very funny and comforting at the same time. Dr. Buscarini is highly skilled in his practice and has great bedside manner. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and his assistant Misty is the best. Mount Vernon Illinois is lucky to have him.

Dr. Buscarine lacks professional ethics and continuity of care. Patients are scheduled for appts/surgery in which the Dr. is not available due to his duel hospital employment overseas. He preforms day surgery or procedures he referred to as "Rotor Rooter" to at risk, elderly and rural residents of Illinois; and then cannot preform adequate follow up as he is out of the country's every one month. He then pushes blame to the patient-family in which many Southern Illinois have limited access to quality of care, transportation, poor education system, and low social-economic status. I am very dissatisfied with the level of care and execution of the medical code of ethics. Patients where made to wait over 4-6 weeks left in chronic pain, discomfort and required to use catheters while patients await his return from overseas for surgery/procedures of follow up apts. I believe he puts his patient at risk and preforms medical malpractice.
