Dr. Eric Joseph Haas

Eric J. Haas, D.D.S., Orthodontist
Dr. Eric was born and has lived in the Akron area his entire life. After graduating from Walsh Jesuit High School (class of 1980), he spent his college years earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Eric completed his dentistry studies at the Ohio State University in 1989 and his post-graduate studies in orthodontics at Loyola University of Chicago in 1991. He then returned to Akron to join his family's orthodontic practice.
Dr. Eric is a member of the Akron Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists, the Ohio Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
"One of the joys in my life is having the opportunity to practice orthodontics with my family. Collectively, the eighty-plus years of experience among my father and brothers was a valuable asset in furthering my education," Dr. Eric explains.
"One commonality …among our patients that I quickly appreciated was the stability of results years after all braces and retainers are removed. It is a wonderful tribute to my father and brothers to be able to pick a 'Haas Smile' out of a crowd."
Eric presently resides in Stow, Ohio with his wife, Annabelle, and their four children. His outside interests include raising his family, cooking and outdoor pursuits.
