I have been trying to get info on my procedure and I get the run around not direct answers! So we will see if I will rate the actual doctor after I see him in person. Hope he has better answers than his staff! I will give better review after surgery if things turn out better! Crossing my messed up finger!

Never even got to see the dr. I was referred to him and went through hoops to get an appointment. Only to have an appointment with an NP not the dr. I had a 3 hr. drive for nothing. Why did they make me send all my records for review if they knew they were going to do nothing. They were very unprofessional from start to finish. I would not recommend UCSD Orthopedics to any one This was one of the worst attempts at health care I have ever had. I am in the same shape as before if not worse because now I am angry. They were no help at all.

His diagnosis of the condition of my wrist was 100% correct and saved me years of unnecessary pain.

Excellent Dr. with excellent follow-up. I had 0 post surgical pain issues and Dr. Hentzen spent all the time necessary showing pictures of the operation and completely and thoroughly explaining the procedures and the rehab. I couldn't have asked for a better Dr.

words cannot describe my utter respect for Dr. Hentzen. If I wasn't in a splint for my fractured/infected metacarpal, I would write paragraph upon paragraph about all the wonderful things that are Dr. Hentzen. He is not only a talented surgeon, but a kind-hearted man.FR

Fixed my non-union scahpiod wrist fracture after a year of other doctors giving me the run around. His bed-side is next to none and he answer all your questions and is very through in regards to his intentions and what you can expect out of surgery. I was truely blessed to have been pointed in his direction...the year long wait was well worth it.

This is the best doctor that I have ever had. I had a major dislocation in my hand that needed surgery right away. Dr. hentzen performed the surgery within the week. He explained everything that was going to happen and answered all of our questions and if you knew my wife you would know hw had to be very patient during this time. The sugery went great and my 4 torn legements are doing well. His office staff and nurses are very good and actually you can tell the nurses like their job. It is easy to get an appointment and he is always there if I need him to answer a question or prescribe medication. I can't say enough good things about this doctor
