Dr. Eric Alec Hurtado, MD

I met with Dr. Hurtado this afternoon and am very satisfied. He spent a great deal of time speaking with me and answering my questions. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

My 92 year old Mom needed a small procedure performed at the Cleveland Clinic this morning. She was very scared & untrusting due to her dementia. Dr Hurtado & the entire outpatient surgical staff were fantastic handling my Mom who was very traumatized to say the least. Dr Hurtado was very caring & informative with the best bedside manner. Thank you so much!

He had a good bedside manner, spends time to explain and answer questions. He knows your medical history when he walks in the door (unlike another MD I saw at this facility who relies on residents for everything). He is someone I would see again.

I was referred to him when locally no one knew what to do further. He ordered tests I could not have done locally and then followed up with me - over the telephone so I wouldn't have to come back in - about the test results. He is approachable, spent time with me, explains things in detail. His post visit notes in mychart are detailed and understandable. He appears to have prepared for my visit by reading my history himself and not have a resident summarize it for him. He writes up his own post visit notes (all of this is in stark contrast to another doctor I saw in this facility) and they are detailed. I'd recommend him.

Highly recommend Dr Hurtado. He is very caring and knowledgeable. I would trust him with my life.

Dr Hurtado is a very caring, thorough Doctor. He takes time to listen and respond to patients. He did follow ups for a long period of time to make sure the problems were taken care of. I liked the way he kept me informed of procedures and everything that was happening.
