Dr. Eric John Keller, MD

Dr. Keller is an awesome pediatrician! He has long wait times, but that is because he truly cares and takes his time with each of his patients and their parent(s).

One of the worst Dr.'s in Rio Rancho. Do not take your child to this doctor if you want them healed. On one occasion my son was so sick vomiting in front of doctor and dihydrated, unable to stomach ANYTHING, his response.... He's fine take him home. 3 hours later my son was in ER where he later would be admitted into hospital for 4 days with infections, virus and severe dihydration. Next occasion, my son and his twin sister had 102deg fever, coughing up yellow and green mucus, again his statement was.... They have a cold they will be fine. 5 hours late my son is in ER with a O2 reading of 82 and a ear infection. Guess what he had, RSV. Not one test from this doctor, not one perscription. He is worthless and unwilling to treat. He missed an ear infection not once but twice. He couldn't even send my children 40feet down the hall to have their nose swabed for RSV. Not sure what his deal is but strongly recommend to find a different pediatriation.

We like Dr. Keller. He is full of knowledge and listens to our concerns. I have alot of friends that take their children to see him as well as my sister who has five boys. Great doctor!

This is a doctor who rings after office hours (7pm one night, 8pm another night) to check that my child was feeling better & to follow up on hospital appointment. I am from Europe & unfortunately, we do not have this level of care from our family doctor. Dr. Keller genuinely cares about his young patients. We have been attending him since Nov'2010 & would recommend him to all our friends/family. We never feel rushed, he listens to us & never dismisses our concerns as parents. I have had to take our baby to Urgent Care one night & the next day took him to Dr. Keller for a follow up & feel that the advise received from Dr. Keller was spot on & the care & attention received better than Urgent care. Our kids like him & feel comfortable with him so that gets a thumbs up from us as well. Having got used to this level of professionalism/care from our children's doctor it will be hard for us to replicate this when we have to go home.

Dr. Keller has been our children's pediatrician for five years. I do seem to have to wait a little longer for him than another doctor, but he is worth it. He is very accurate on his diagnosis. I like that he will give me his opinion, but respect my decision on things. He has always been right on diagnosis.
