The best ever

He is not very ethical, as he scared me into seeing him for monthly visits for years that I later learned (from other doctors) were unnecessary. He also pitches his patients to invest in his company which I do not believe is proper.

I am shocked by the reviews rating Dr. Lewis anything less than perfect. (It is clear, however, that these people might have some mental demons judging by their vulgar language and total ignorance. Just an opinion!) I have greatly enjoyed every visit I've had with this doctor and have recommended him to many of my friends. They also had the same wonderful experience I did. People in my family have died of melanoma even though they regularly visited a different dermatologist and I can say with confidence that Dr. Lewis saved my life. He knows what he's taking about and puts it into terms you can understand. Highly recommend!

I feel compelled to write because Dr. Lewis is a remarkable doctor in my eyes. I like the fact that he cuts first and asks questions later. Most derms wait for the size or color to change, which already reduces your chances of survival. I can take the stitch out myself (I don't have to pay him to do that). He can't make up what the lab reports come back with either. It's either benign or abnormal. I think you may misheard Lewis because he wouldn't still be in business if he was lying to people about have "stage 2 or 3 precancerous growths" randomly as a scare tactic and the lab reports never matched up. He does take more off than you may be prepared for, it's true. In my case, he gets one bad one to four healthy ones. I would prefer that to a doctor that cuts only when he knows it is abnormal, which means my odds of survival have just taken a dive from the get go. The cost of getting moles cut off is much cheaper than treating cancer. AND, I want to never get skin cancer to… begin with, so I am happy for him to cut away.I have lots of moles and a family history of melanoma. I think the fanaticism of Dr. Lewis will keep me alive longer than the photo matching process most other doctors use.And he does take insurance. I'm on a United PPO and it covers everything but the co-pay.

Dr Eric Lewis was recommended to me by a patient whilst I was on holiday from UK in Los Angeles. I found him to be very caring, honest and professional, explaining exactly what my skin condition was and how he intended to treat it.I cannot recommend highly enough as I know you will be in safe hands
