Dr. Eric Michael Paul, MD

I read the other reviews and found him, to be extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable with what was truly a “minor” issue; but he was kind enough to work me in.

Dr. Paul is a phenomenal surgeon. Sadly, he has lost touch with connecting with patients. Gone are his witty sense of humor and good bedside manner. He spent a minimal amount of time with me at the clinic. His office failed to follow-up with me regarding results from a post-op CT scan.

Dr Paul and his nurse Leslie have saved my life 3x now after a botched surgery in Mexico. I met Dr Paul in the emergency room when I got back in the states and they have been taking care of me for 3 yrs now. They truly care and will do whatever they can to help take care of you.

I had a referral to Dr. Paul from my primary care provider and had insurance set to go. His office informed me that I was ineligible. I called my insurance that informed me that was not true, my referral was still valid. I got a run around with Dr. Paul's staff. It also takes awhile to get in there. If you want to a Dr. and staff that values your time as much as theirs, caring, and helpful I would suggest doing your research and going somewhere else.

Dr. Paul did my surgery and did an excellent job. Both Paul and his nurse Leslie treated me and my wife with respect and cared about me as a patient. They both made sure I had everything I needed before and after the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Paul to anyone.

They could care less whether you live or die. If Leslie decides she doesn’t like you then she wears the pants and makes the decisions for Dr. Paul. She is not a nice person at all. Dr. Paul is nice but he lets Leslie wear the pants. I wasted my time with them - and after a year of these games with Leslie I found another doctor who wants to help me save my life. I wonder how many people have died after being rejected by Leslie - how many lives have been lost because they sought help and she convinced Dr. Paul to not help them. Their loss.

If you have an absolutely smooth recovery period, whatever he and he staff believe "reasonable," you'll probably have a good experience. Any complications? They don't want to hear about it and Dr. Paul will spend no time talking to you about it. I wish I would have gotten another surgeon in the Emergency Room lottery. I hated it that everytime I had to call his office, his nurse Leslie sounded so impatient and grouchy.
