This will give your insight to how amazing he is … Dear Dr. Sauvageau, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care you provided to me during my surgery this past August . Your expertise, professionalism, and compassion were truly remarkable, and I cannot thank you enough for the positive impact you have had on my life. From the moment I met you, I felt confident that I was in the best possible hands. I remember reading your bio on the website and you said , “your patients are your family. “ I can attest to this first hand. Your thorough explanations of the procedure and the risks involved helped me to feel more at ease, and your kindness and patience in answering my questions were greatly appreciated. You always answered my daughters questions and they gave you the highest praise. Your attention to detail and your ability to navigate the complexities of the human brain were truly… awe-inspiring. I felt completely at ease knowing that you were in control, and I knew that I was in the best possible hands. After the surgery, your care and concern for my well-being were evident in every interaction we had. You took the time to check on me regularly, to explain the recovery process, and to answer any questions I had. Your kindness and compassion were a source of comfort during a difficult time, and I will always be grateful for your support. In short, I cannot thank you enough for the exceptional care you provided to me. You are a truly remarkable neurosurgeon, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had you as my doctor. Meeting Dr. Sauvageau was like a gentle breeze on a very hot day. He showed exceptional care for my husband and CLEARLY explained what we may be facing and offered several paths to healing. He did not jump at or insist that surgery is the only option but explained the benefits vs risks of alternative routes. The BEST part of meeting Dr. Sauvegeau was talking to his assistant MEGAN. What a blessing to have her as part of our team. She is efficient, thoughtful, kind and knows the art of listening. I hope one day she is the Director of Administration at Baptist Medical Center so she can pass her spirit of excellence to all persons who interact with patients. She is a keeper!

Thank you to Dr Sauvageau and Jackdonville Baptist Medical Hospital. We were in Jacksonvile for a visit when my daughter, with Downs Sysdrom, had a TIA. She had these before & they said it was from her being Downs. With in 4 days they diagnosed her with Moyamoya, common to Downs. Dr Sauvageau did surgery to add blood vessels to her brain. A year later no TIAs and I have my daughter back. Thank you to wonderful doctors and staff.

From communication to surgical skills, Dr. Sauvageau is, by far, a compassionate and skilled surgeon. I'm truly blessed that my neurologist sent me to him for neurosurgery. Truly blessed.

Let me just say if I ever needed brain surgery again I would go to Florida so I could have him as my doctor. He was truly amazing
