Having a tummy tuck was such a big decision for me that it took me almost two years to finally decide on a surgeon. I consulted with SEVEN different plastic surgeons in the area before finally meeting Dr. Schaffer. As a registered nurse, I had very high expectations of the care I wanted to receive. I was looking for a physician who would put an emphasis on patient health and safety, have extensive surgical experience and excellent post op care. Dr Schaffer and his staff are all of that and more. He is very compassionate and thorough and you can tell that he truly cares about his patients and their outcomes. His level of expertise coupled with the professionalism of his staff made me feel at ease with my decision before surgery. I was also very impressed with the individualized post op care, always feeling comfortable asking questions and never feeling rushed. My results far exceeded my expectations and I attribute this to the post op care I received as well as my adherence to the… instructions and recommendations I was given. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Schaffer and his amazing staff for changing my life for the better. My self confidence is higher than it has ever been and I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror! (so much that it makes me late in the mornings!) If you are looking for true professionalism and individualized care, this is it!

I had tummy tuck after having 3 babies and losing the weight but was left with an apron belly full of stretch marks. He did an amazing job and my only regret was waiting until my youngest was 11 before having the surgery. Thank you Dr. Schaffer and staff! Highly recommend!

Recently had a BA & BL (7 wks PO) I couldn’t be more satisfied with his work. Dr Schaffer was absolutely amazing! His attention to detail is impeccable, explains everything in detail. The surgical team made sure I was comfortable and safe every step of the way! Debbie, Victoria, Mari (Staff in the office), made sure to answer all my questions in a timely manner before and after. IMO, Dr Schaffer is the best Plastic Surgeon in town! He has excellent bedside manner and is so knowledgeable in his area of expertise you know from the first day meeting him, you’ll get the results you want. This guy knows what he’s doing and has an amazing staff in his office. Those things combined seem hard to come by now days and this team nails it! I found Dr Schaffer 15yrs ago by referral From a friend, he did amazing work then, but just out of curiosity when I was ready for an “update” this year, I thought I’d do a few other consults around the area/state. I don’t know why I even wasted my time and money on consult fees because none compared to Dr Schaffer AND I already knew his work...duh! :)

Dr. Schaffer is a professional, caring and meticulous surgeon that takes pride in his work and in your satisfaction. Dr. Shaffer did an excellent job on my breast augmentation 12+ years ago; and most recently two months ago, Dr. Schaffer performed an excision of a cyst from my back left shoulder; an area that can be sensitive to scarring, not to mention visible (especially for someone like myself, who loves sleeveless fashion). I am so very happy with the results of the excision with pleasing-to-the-eye results, minimal scarring in only 2 months and fading quickly, while still in the healing process. I had been to 5 other Drs before coming to Dr. Schaffer. I decided on Dr. Schaffer based on his reviews, before and after photos, and his confidence and explanation in how he performs the procedure itself. I thought i knew exactly what i wanted having met with 3 other Drs prior to my consultation with Dr. Schaffer... Gummie implants (more costly) and by way of inframammary crease incision. Afterall, thats what every other Dr. highly suggested! He completely flipped the script on me. I went with over filled saline (DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT WAS AN OPTION), and through the armpit. I couldnt be happier! Just wish i went a little bigger, but WE ALL DO afterwards lol! My recovery was as expected for the most part. When i had a question or concern he and his staff were right on top of it anytime, day or night! The compassion, professionalism, and sense of humor he and his staff show is truly something special.
