Dr. Eric Arkady Shnayder, MD

Dr. Shnayder performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I went from blurry vision, to complete clarity. He explained in detail, laser versus non laser surgery procedure, the lenses available for my condition, and the post operative care to follow afterwards. I would highly recommend Dr. Shnayder. I just had Laser Cataract Surgery performed by Dr. Shnayder, where Toric lens were also inserted. The operation went flawlessly w/o pain or discomfort. Dr Shnayder and staff are professional while also being friendly and compassionate. I recommend him w/o any reservations.

Dr. Schnayder purchased the practice I had been going to, as she retired. Whereas before, I was used to punctual appointments, I was made to wait for 1 hr past my appointed time. When I was finally seen, I was given a sales pitch for cataract surgery (which my Glaucoma specialist told me I still had some time before I needed it) and the optometrist on site ( get my glasses at BJ's). He then asked me if I wanted a prescription (why did he think I was there?), and then forgot to write it and I had to return, after I was home. Where, previously I left with 2 prescriptions, one for glasses and one for contacts, I was told that I would need to return for my contacts "fitting". I already had contacts that fit, I only need a prescription change. Of course, that would be an additional charge. I felt he was not really concentrating on my needs, but on his bottom line.

When looking for a new opthalmologist I wanted the best and I found the best, Dr. Shnayder. He is pleasant, friendly and thorough. Felt very comfortable with visits and cataract surgery. Staff very accomodating and pleasant. I would highly recommend him.

I like coming here because Dr. Shnayder and his optician are real professionals. The doctor thoroughly examines my eyes and the optician next store is also very experienced and has helped me often.

There are so many doctors today who rush you in and out. Dr. Shnayder is not like that. He is friendly, patient and answers all your questions. There are eye issues in my family and I need to get checked at least twice a year to be safe. Dr. Shnayder is quite thorough and I am very confident in his services.

I give Dr. Shnayder and his staff the highest ratings. We just moved here from a distance and I searched for a new eye doctor. Dr. Shnayder surpassed my expectations. He's actually better than my previous eye doctor. Very thorough and efficient across the board.

Since a family member has glaucoma, I thought it was important for me to visit an ophthalmologist who is thorough and efficient. I was recommended to Dr. Shnayder. He and his staff gave me a thorough exam and fortunately there are no signs of glaucoma at this time. I needed new glasses and the optician next door, Bob at Hillcrest Opticians, was very helpful. Happy with the whole experience and would recommend them.
