Dr. Eric Starheim Smith, MD

Dr. Smith was awesome. He kept me informed and was very good about getting results when he needed approval for tests.

Dr Smith is extremely competent and caring. My experience is if you have a genuine occupational injury, he will do everything possible to help you. The staff at his office has always been professional and courteous. Although I was initially concerned when my personal doctor referred me outside their office, it really was the best decision. Dealing with a workplace injury, I have learned a doctor that has this experience is critical dealing with an L & I injury claim.

Well I like Dr. Smith contrary to what I'm reading. I have never had any issues with him although he does tend to speak the truth and tell you what you may not want to hear. I am glad he is my physician and I have complete confidence in his abilities as well as his diagnosis.

THE MAN IS ON THE VERGE OF A HEART ATTACK. HE IS POMPOUS AND ALTHOUGH HE CAN QUOTE THE BIBLE TO YOU HE IS STUPID AS A BOX OF ROCKS. MARRIED TO THE BIGGEST GOSSIP IN TOWN SO IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR DIAGNOSES (WHICH I ASSURE YOU HE HAS NOT A CLUE) KNOWN STAY AWAY.

This is a doctor who does not care about you, L&I or your company. He is there to collect a paycheck. He obviously eats well. He does not both to help find the correct doctor or help with any of your needs. He should be banned from his profession.

This doctor was rude and the wait time was ridiculous. He cut off any explanations or information, drawing his own conclusions without even reading the history! He is sticking it to patients and L & I. What a waste of time and energy and cash!

Starting in 2007 I have been seeing Dr. Smith for at least one and sometimes two on the job injuries. He has been there, not only in his fine treatment of my physical issues but has eased a lot of the emotional things too. He has never been too busy to see me between appointments. If something came up unexpectedly he was always able to help. I may sound like a commercial for him but that is how strongly I feel about his care and compassion.

Eric Smith is an occupational physician and a poor one at that. Because of his care I am in worse shape because he simply hates working and is in such finacial dispair that he does as little as possible to collect a paycheck. His staff is drug induced looking and lack little if any personality. Furthermore there is no privacy in your medical matters sinced his wife is the biggest gossip and shares what she knows with everyone. A very sad office and not a place for ongoing care.

I found Dr Smith to be an excellent care provider. I have seen him for many years after being involved in a serious accident. He is knowledgeable and helpful - he has gone out of his way many times to help me in my recovery and has been a light in guiding me through a painful and life changing situation. I am most grateful to have found a Dr. of his skill and compassion.

This doctor (and I use the term loosely) is a danger to the patients he sees and his cavalier and uncaring attitude is a stain on the medical profession. He never read my file, failed to schedule needed diagnostic tests and stormed out of the exam room when he was confronted about his lack of professionalism. RUN away from this doctor or better yet report him. I did.
