Dr. Eric Wong, MD

Dr. Wong was advised before my surgery that I often wake up in the middle of procedures and to monitor me carefully. He rolled his eyes, didn't look at me and his facial expression clearly indicated that he was annoyed to be "told how to do his job". I woke up in the middle of a gall bladder removal, thrashed until I ripped the IV out of my arm and according to the surgeon used "very inappropriate language". I woke with my arm covered in blood, had to have the IV redone and am embarrassed by what I may have said. He then went on to violate California law by balance billing me for emergency room services. $2000 is not enough to screw up his job, apparently, he wants a couple of hundred more. His debt collector then violated federal law by continuing to contact me to collect an illegal debt. It's doctors like Dr. Wong that make people nervous about medical care.

This man is a horrible human with complete disregard for personal struggle and after hearing the comments he said to my mother in recovery I will do EVERYTHING I can to defend my mother and potentially prevent another person from the experience that could room anyone else if they are not as strong as my mother. This is just the beginning.
