This was my first time seeing Dr. Brode and she provided excellent care. She was friendly and engaging, explained what she was doing during my Pap and IUD removal, asked if I had any questions, and provided helpful follow-up information.

My provider ensured I was put at ease and all communication was working properly.

Dr Brody is the best Doctor I have ever encountered. She is a great listener and has expertly handled , diagnosed, gave her opinions , referred specialists, followed up on medical issues and outcomes. Dr Brody is the best Doctor I have had the pleasure of trusting. She diagnosed a medical anticoagulant in 2019 that Drs at top NYC doctors and Fellows in 2025 had no knowledge of the condition and its repercussions. She and UCSF have saved family members,,children in the most fragile situations . Dr Erica Brody is definitely a five star physician.

Wonderful MD, knowledgeable and empathetic

Dr. Erica Brode is my main reason to stay with UCSF & United Health Care. She is one of the best PCP. Extremely professional, always ready to research my health concerns, takes extra steps to explore potential reasons and care procedures. I have total trust in her knowledge, expertise as a PCP, and her dedication. She doesn't rush me through the visit, nor does she take my health concerns lightly. Dr. Brode respects that I know my health history and my body. I am fortunate to be in good health, but when I don't feel well, she respects, and does every analysis to make sure we've checked potential problems. I can't say enough about how much I value having her as my PCP.

This doctor is beyond abusive and steps out of bounds. When you ask her serious a question, she starts looking around the room and in and starts laughing excessively and she doesn’t look you in the eyes. She ask you personal questions about your family that are none of your business then she puts it in your medical record with no reason or right. She wanted me to have breast reduction for getting rear-ended having a back misalignment. Forced me on the IUD Try to switch my meds behind other doctors back and then send them to the pharmacy without their consent not thinking at the pharmacy would pick it up. She refuses to answer questions about her bad billing. She thinks because she’s a doctor. She’s God she cant get away with anything and it doesn’t work that way. Trust your gut with this person, be very cautious be very aware and run for the hills. She tried to have me on 34 medication. I didn’t think there was a problem. Then she had the nerve to put in my chart that I had… constipation, and I wasn’t taking anything for it. Wanted me to have seven surgeries within a year and she laughed about it and told me there’s nothing wrong with that surgery after surgery after surgery. Hey, I’m people confirmed I didn’t have carpal tunnel, but she was just pushing surgery. Push and push and push in surgery. Wanted to bypass physical therapy just do surgery for stuff that you didn’t even have confirmation was an issue for us and she was just ready to do surgery and put you on pills that you didn’t need. Wrist surgery on both elbows elbow surgery on both elbows neck, surgery, rest reduction in a hysterectomy offer a car accident Putting stuff in my medical history about family illness that my family doesn’t have insurance bills for it bills for a cancer that says my grandmother has, but doesn’t. The best thing I ever did was get the hell away from this woman and the control. Couple back adjustments and I already feel like a new woman and she wanted to chop me up and had me look like Chucky.

Dr Brode is the best, She is so Passionate for Great Patient Care! She has been an outspoken leader and advocate for patients' best medical care and universal healthcare coverage for all-- since her undergraduate studies at UCLA. Her enthusiasm and glowing personal warmth to everyone is outstanding!

this doctor is crap. she has no courtesy for her patients, even when left message after message to let me know what to do about a medical condition, even after visiting the emergency room because you can't get any help at the clinic. she can't be bothered to inform you of anything going on with your treatment.
