Dr. Erica Lynne Frank, MD

Had an appointment a few weeks ago and was not impressed. She is rude and I am currently seeking out someone better:

I met Dr. Frank for the first time today. I thought she did a wonderful job on my physical. She took her time and was very kind and thorough. I feel fortunate to have found her. And for those reviews that she does not make eye contact, just not so. I had constant eye contact and when she was on the computer it was only to enter important points of my wellness visit. I highly recommend Dr. Frank

She’s smart, thorough, down to earth and caring. I have been a patient for 15 years. Can’t say enough. I have referred family members and several friends. I see reviews/comments complaining about her typing at the computer. This does not bother me because I know that she is capturing thoughts, writing me reminders and ensuring that my other doctors are made aware of treatment updates. I admire her efficiency and follow through. I also appreciate her arranging for consultations with specialists. She does not pretend to be an expert on everything, but ensures the best overall care for me with the support of her wonderful staff and broader network of physicians.

Saw this doctor for about three years. Seldom if at all did she make eye contact with me ... too busy looking at her computer. Frankly, I don't know how she graduated from medical school.

Dr. Frank is amazing. She always gives me the time that I need and doesn't rush through my appointment like other doctors have in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Frank.

Unfortunately, she did not know what she was talking about. She explained nothing . She gave me health problems I did not have. She ordered tests I did not need. She spent most of the time I saw her on a medical problem that she had not heard of and was outside her specialty. In fact, seeing her was a was a waste of time and money.

Consistently reminded me how she was affiliated or teaching at some ivy league school, but her bedside manner was awful and I always felt like I was wasting her precious time. When I had bronchitis, I had to push to get more attention, and found out I actually had pneumonia. I recommend you find someone else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frank for over 5 years. She is the extremely thorough, takes time to answer your questions, excellent referrals, makes follow up calls after hours, and every diagnosis is 100% correct ! I would follow her out of state to keep her as my primary physician!

Erica embodies all that is good about the practice of medicine. She is caring, thorough and thoughtful. She sees the patient as a whole person. Shortly after appointments she follows up with me by either phone or e-mail. In an age when more and more internists are opting for concierge medicine, she remains true to the Hippocratic oath. I am very lucky to be her patient.
