Dr. Erica Lyn Romblom, MD

Hello, let me start this review by saying I have never written a negative review about anyone before and I didn't want to write this but I am extremely upset by the treatment of my mother. We are both very laid back people and we are always very understanding. We ourselves run a business so neither us ever wants to write a bad review but I want to warn others, Erica Romblom has refused to work with my mother, my mother who has been on a controlled substance for close to fifteen years and has all of the paperwork to prove she had never once abused her medicine because it is very important for her to have, she honestly cannot function normally without this medicine. For months this doctor refuses to work with her, my mother has spent HOURS on the phone with so many people from Kaiser (everyone else has been so great!) trying to get these meds because this doctor first of all will not get her an appointment in a reasonable time (out of meds in a week, okay lets see you in two months..)… second will not speak to her directly, has never met my mother and a few months ago my mother had to send this doctor a message BEGGING for these meds because she had to have them for a trip and if she didn't she wouldn't of been able to help people (remember my mother is a first responder). Finally at the last second this doctor agreed to give her these meds for the time she was gone. My mother has worked with many other doctors and we have all sorts of papers and test results proving she doesn't abuse these meds. We understand that people abuse these meds and that doctors need to be careful but refusing to speak with her, refusing to speak with behavioral health, customer service and having a nurse speak with them and because the doctor won't speak with customer service or my mother nothing gets sorted. We are both extremely upset by this treatment.
