Dr. Erica Catterall Sharp, MD

Dr. Sharp really knows her stuff. She is always up on current research, etc., and always willing to learn more about specialty areas. It's easy for me to talk with her and make a plan with her for anything the kids need. Prompt with relaying results from testing, easy to access by phone if needed, and follows up to make sure everything is going well. She is really nice, very friendly, and super approachable, though she is maybe not the most cuddly/overly sweet with the very little kids (just in case that's the kind of thing that's a priority for you). The most important thing, in my mind, is having a doctor I can trust to sort out complicated issues, refer me onto a specialist as needed, and help me make solid decisions regarding my children. I actually look forward to our appointments with Dr. Sharp as she is such an enjoyable person to talk with and to be around. My kids like her too and feel comfortable with her.

She is a great doctor and truly loves her work

North Austin Pediatrics staff is GREAT! Dr. Sharp on the other hand is not. She is very rude, cold, and seems to go only from textbook knowledge than actually caring about her patients. She once mentioned that she chose pediatrics because it seemed to be the "easiest". Needless to say, I don't need a "textbook" doctor. For that I would use WebMD and get a better personality.

I recommend Dr Sharp. She has been my daughters peditrican since she was born. The office staff is great. I couldn't have asked for a better place/ DR to care for my child now 3yrs old
