Ericka Lamar, Psy D, LP

Ericka La Mar, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist at Essentia Health. She joined Essentia Health in 2013. She enjoys providing high-quality psychological care to people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Her particular interests include trauma-focused treatment including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), holistic approaches to health and wellness including yoga, nutrition, meditation, and culturally competent care for LGBTQ+ people. She provides psychological assessment for ages six and up, individual, and family therapy for ages 13 and up. Dr. La Mar grew up in Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at the College of Notre Dame and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology.
