I had a very pleasant experience. Everyone was very nice and answered the questions I asked. Sometimes the wait here and there was long, but I felt it is my eyes and the second important part of your body after your heart, thankful for my eyesight. Dr. Erik Chotiner and staff provided me with excellent care for my cataract removal, which gave me full confidence to have my second cataract done. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful during the whole experience.

Pre-Op is a well oiled machine. Staff was friendly and efficient. OR staff was really terrific. Things moved so quickly and smoothly, it was perfect.

I was absolutely terrified over the mere idea of cataract surgery, but Dr. Chotiner and the staff at Memorial Eye assured me that I would not see any instruments coming towards my eye and that I would be sedated enough to not feel anxiety (and that I would not feel anything). I was delighted to know that this would be the case - and it was! I saw nothing, felt only a slight pressure on my eye, and had no anxiety as the procedure took place. What a great experience!

My ultimate admiration and appreciation are for Dr. Chotiner. Kudos to nurse Mindy for the professional and personal attention. My only suggestion is that staff members provide their names to the patient.

I felt very comfortable about having this surgery. I will admit I was a little nervous but the staff put me at ease. The doctor was friendly and serious about what he was doing.
