Dr. Tac Zhun Lee, MD

Dr. Lee knew exactly what I needed to make my eyes get back to amazingly sharp and clear vision. He and all of his staff were very professional and responsive to questions, as well as compassionate.

Recently, i took my special needs son, with multiple problems from birth, to Dr. Lee for an eye examination. After several months' of trying to get competent professional medical help for him (which included a misdiagnosis of his condition) i took my son to Dr. Lee. he diagnosed him as having a cataract and a detached retina. Dr. Lee made the necessary arrangements at the Cleveland Clinic, he took the initiative to call the surgeon there to discuss my son's case, and in general demonstrated a great deal of compassion and concern. thankfully, the surgery yielded positive results. Also, the staff at Dr. Lee's office was very supportive.

I was told I had to pay my $3,500 deductible up front. Problem was my deductible had been met months earlier. After a two day battle and speaking directly with UPMC they changed their tune. I was then told I had to pay 20% up front. Which again was a lie as they were 100% covered on my plan. I cancelled the surgery and tried to return a “kit” that I paid for out of pocket $84.15 and they wouldn’t refund my money until the insurance pays for the original appointment. I have turned them in to UPMC who is having their legal department look into their phony billing practices. Medicare and Medicaid should also be doing some research.

Dr. Lee performed cataract surgery on both eyes. Dr. Lee and his staff were friendly, and the procedure went smooth. I would recommend Dr. Lee for all your eye needs.

I recently had to have cataracts removed from both of my eyes after a trip to my eye doctor and was referred to Lee Eye Center for evaluation. After going thought certain exams and seeing Dr. Lee he told me that they needed to be removed. He explained the procedure to me and then I agreed to have the Lasik surgery. I had both eyes done in two weeks and can not believe the difference. Had new lenses put in to. It is like having 20 year old eyes. They explained everything in detail and make you feel comfortable with everything that was going to take place. Bottom line, if you are going to have your eyes fixed for any procedure, Lee Eye Center is where you want to be. Thank you Dr. Lee and the whole staff at Lee Eye Center!!!!! Darrel Cannon

I thought I was having issues with eye allergies. I went to see Dr Lee, he said I had iritus and prescribed steroid drops and to return in 2 weeks. My eye kept getting worse so I moved the appointment up. He told me to increase the eye drops. I had to wear an eye patch, my eye was very sensitive to light. I gave up on Dr Lee and went to a different opthomologist 3 days aftert my 2nd visit. I was diagnosed with an eye infection. I could have lost my eyesight becouse of his misdiagnosis and they still expect me to pay the bill! If you take your car in for new brakes and all you get is brake fluid you shouldn't have to pay that bill either. I will never go back to Dr Lee, he is incompetent..

Collected from my insurance, continued to bill me even after I paid $100.00 over my part. When I told them they owe me they said there are two different billings (one for eye care and one for surgery) yes I see that on my EOB but they still got overpaid by me. Argued with me and said if I didn't send in more payment I would be paying a monthly late fee of $25.00 each month. I'm now filing a complaint with the Attorney General's dept of fraud, and contacting the medical association. You can't fix Dumb, or is it embezzlement?

Messed up the billing so bad and refused to correct it. Watch out for corrupt business practices

Dr Lee and staff were simply amazing I thank him and his staff and would recommend him highly.
