Dr. Herman grew up in the Chicago suburb of Palatine and went to Fremd High School. He competed as a gymnast at Fremd and then was on the team at Southern Illinois University. He continued at Southern Illinois and went to medical school. Next, he completed his residency at the presigious William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. He began his practice in 1997 in St. Petersburg, FL at Bayfront Medical Center. He then joined the well-respected Kennedy-White Orthopaedic Center in 1999. He is happily married with three children. Dr. Herman enjoys golfing and helping his patients achieve active pain-free lifestyles.

Dr Herman is a great Dr. I have seen him and he has treated me many times in the past. He has given me stem cell therapy in the past and he just gave me my second cortisone shot in my left hip…..he makes it painless and effective……definitely recommend him!

Had ENG testing of my back this morning. Valerie was great getting me into the room and prepped for the test. Dr. Herman was wonderful. We chatted for a few minutes about our shared love of ice hockey. He then explained everything that was going to happen and proceeded to test. He kept me informed along the way on what he was doing. I would recommend him and his staff at KWOC to anybody!

As usual, with the help of his assistant, Valerie, my appointment was thorough and achieved the goal!! Dr Herman is the best at communicating and providing pain less (as much as possible) injections! I love working with this team of professionals! They have helped me for years with pain in my knees, back and hip! Don’t know what I’d do without them!

Was quite nervous about my cortisone shot in my hip but Dr Herman explained everything to me and was very kind and professional. His nurse Valerie was fantastic too. Great experience and happy to have such great care here in Sarasota

Dr. Herman is a top tier doctor. He is highly intelligent and also caring . He listens intently and asks questions with a reassuring calmness and quest to gain insight. He devises a plan of action based on his need to further understand the individual patient. I would highly recommend him.
