Dr. Erik Grove Palmer, DO

Horrible practice, I spend most of my time dealing with a telephone receptionist for meds, mri/xray results and everything else. Now you cant get thru to anyone. What's next, the telephone receptionist will call and say I only have 6 months to live?

No diagnosis for stomach pain and facial red spots now I have gallstones and skin cancer, the worst, he should not be practicing medicine, a horror story.

I've been going to Dr. Palmer for several years in Cathedral city. His PA Mary is wonderful. She is thorough, listens to you, and is genuinely concerned. There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful she is. The waiting time is always short and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Palmer is also an excellent doctor. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Palmer as our primary care physician.

Originally chose Dr Palmer based on what I read. Exams were not thorough, breast exams through clothing, shame on me. Used Desert Imaging on referral by office, did not know imaging equipment was not current, nor was the Doctor who reads the mammograms. Moved to Georgia, had a mammogram, Doctor found a suspicious mark on film, did a sonogram, then followed by very painful biopsies. Ending with a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, and twenty eight days of radiation. The cancers removed were sizeable and we're growing for awhile, didn't just materialize. So be a more diligent Doctor.

Dr. Palmer is one of the few physicians in town that really understands multilevel illnesses and really advocates for his patietns.

Staff can't be bothered. Office run by his narcissistic wife who should not be in charge of anyone. They consistently are on the precipice of being nasty & indifferent.

Dr. Palmer is an incredible family medicine physician. He is the last if his breed that still cares of about the patient and the importance of establishing a relationship based on respect and true care. His staff is incredible and always take a genuine interest with helping the patients.

Staff is unqualified. No return calls, lab tests not ordered timely, and results never discussed. Dr. Palmer is pre-occupied with telling stories about other patient issues, does not listen.

Dr. Palmer and his staff have mastered the art and science of primary care and the referral process. From start to finish it is a breeze with a smile!

Wow! After years of misdiagnosis from another office, I finally received the right diagnosis and treatment. I feel very fortunate to have a doctor that cares and is competent and has a stellar caring staff. Yeah!
