Dr. Erik Harald Pronske, MD

Erik Pronske, MD, is chief of service, Anesthesiology, Children's Hospital of Austin. From 2001 to 2002, Dr. Pronske also served as vice chief of staff for Children's Hospital. A graduate of Texas Tech University, Dr. Pronske received his MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He performed his internship in General Surgery at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston and his Anesthesiology Residency at Hermann Hospital in Houston. Dr. Pronske completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology through Harvard University at The Children?s Hospital in Boston.Dr. Pronske is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association and the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
