Dr. Sylvin was such sweetheart! He was the only doctor that took the time to thoroughly examine my elderly mother and get to the root of the problem instead of merely treating the symptoms. He explained complex Medical procedures in a clear and concise way. He was absolutely wonderful! A surgeon with social skills and expertise! Such a rare combination.

Dr. Sylvain has been the only doctor to treat causes of my elderly mom's lung condition rather than merely treating symptoms. He was kind and patient. He explained complicated medical terms and procedures clearly. He also has good social skills which unusual with surgeons.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr Sylvin during my mothers treatment at lenox Hill. He took plenty of time with my family , was thorough, and compassionate. He made us feel comfortable even under very stressful and unfortunate diagnoses. My mother loved him. She felt a comfort in his presence which will always mean a lot to me. He guided us through her illness and moved prior to her last few months. I contacted him when she passed and he was responsive- i would definitely recommend him.

I trusted Dr Sylvan!!! But how can you trust a doctor who has no clue how to talk to the patient's loved ones. But you have to literally track him down to get answers. And who leaves a patient high & dry after major surgery. Dr Sylvan does. Do not trust him, do not believe him. That's if you ever even get to see him. I know first hand, I lost my loved one because Dr. Sylvan didn't care enough to listen to the patient & family when they kept telling him something was wrong!!!! His license should be revoked!!! If you are not a person with large amounts of money or the CEO of the hospital he works for he will not take care of you as he should!!!! Stay away from him, if you want your loved one to stay around.
