Dr. Erin Baker Baker, DO

I am writing this complaint to inform others that the communication between office staff and Doctor is not one of good standings. I went in for a test that the doctor ordered (on a Thursday) and the result were back in her office within 2 hours and no one from the Doctors off ever called me with the results. The office is closed on Fridays so therefor I had to suffer all weekend waiting for the answers. I call the office on Monday and left a message with the Med. Assistant. Never received a call back. By this time I called the imaging place and received a copy of my test results. Finally someone called me the next day (Tuesday) and told me my results, which I already knew. I asked to leave a message with the Doctor since my symptoms were not getting better to see what the next step would be. Finally today (Thursday, a week later) to see if the Doctor had received my message. I was told that someone was supposed to call me on Tuesday afternoon with the next step. The office… staff said sorry we must have over looked this. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last time. Oh and I was told that the doctor does not call the patient, only the medical staff does. She has residence/student that also help her out to the doctor can do what is important. WAIT A MINUTE I AM NOT IMPORTANT!!!!

Worse doctors office I have ever been too. Really scary. Staff in the front does not know what they are doing. Wow. Stay far away.

I have gone to Dr. Baker for my yearly check ups for a few years now. She is a decent doctor who is professional. The only issue is her office staff. They ended up billing my insurance company for more than just my yearly visit. When I inquired about the charge I received it took almost a week to hear back from the MA. They just brushed off the charges and did not correct them leaving me to pay the bill. The staff is very cold and just there to do the bare minimum to get a paycheck. I wish they would hire people who know how to do their job.

The office staff is not very professional and they keep you on hold at least 8 min everytime that you call even if its right at 9am when they open. There is always a student that is following her so be prepared to go over everything twice so they can learn off of you. It is like pulling teeth to get a call on results, a call back on a message or to let you know that a script is ready. The Dr herself is ok but seems always rushed to just get you out of the room and like she is sooo busy for the day. It's always a mix up on the appointments too so be prepared to show a card with your appointment on it.. Good Luck is all I can say

This Doctor's office totally wasted my time! I wasn't able to see her until she was listed as my Primary. So, I picked her as my primary and had an appointment set over 2 weeks ago. I received an automated call reminding me about my appt on Friday also letting me know, there will be a charge if I do not show up for my appt. Well, 6 hours before my appointment, I receive a voicemail from Delores, stating my appointment had been cancelled. I called the office and was put on hold. I called back and they wanted to put me on hold again. I said, no, have Delores call me back, since she is the one who left me a message. Around 12:15 pm, I still hadn't received a call back. I called the office and received the answering service because they are on lunch. This is a horrible and unprofessional way to run a doctors office! Now, this left me, having to change my primary doctor and have to wait even longer for medical treatment. Her reviews say she is caring, competent and compassionate. I… highly doubt that! If she was caring, competent and compassionate this should never of happened, being treated so poorly! I would avoid this doctor in the future. Don't believe the hype/positive reviews, they are either fake or paid for!

I forgot to tell her one medication I took. She refused to help me because of this. I see a dr for these meds and I advised I see a psychiatrist. I am aware of patients that get medication one of them being adderal. Neither of the two I'm aware of have anything wrong warranting the medication they are prescribed so she writes scripts if your a man. I'm not a pill seeker I actually have serious health issues this dr isn't for women. I wouldn't refer anyone to her. Dr Baker couldn't even be professional enough to take my call. What has our health care come to? She couldn't even refer to a pain dr that took my insurance. I would think the office would have a list to send patient to that except my health insurance.
