Dr. Erin Forest, MD

I recently had hand surgery with Dr Forest and couldn’t be more satisfied. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. She is professional and caring. Took the time to talk with me and answered all my questions. My surgery went well and I received great care. I would absolutely recommend her.

I came to see erin forest in 2007 she seemed so confident and sure she could help. I broke my right dominant wrist. it was a Coles fracture with a severe variance of the ulna what's known as piano affect.she first did 2 surgeries to place bone where I had lost it because of my accident in the radius. with internal fixation. when those didnt work she reduced the length of my ulna. unbenownced to me she cut the bone and removed 3 cm more than necessary making my wrist more unstable. she then put plates in both bones ulna and radius. 4 surgeries no change from my initial visit besides I had 4 surgeries and lost about 2 inches in length of my ulna. I trusted her I believe she could help me she said she could fix it she did the 5th surgery soft tissue trying to hold down the ulna due to piano affect. again failed. she took no responsibility, didnt care that what she had done had permanently disabled me. I was done so I waited a few years to revisit finding another orthopaedic dr. when I did… he told me she had reduced my ulna too much and I had lost all of my cartilage due to the amount of surgeries and would he difficult to repair my wrist without a drastic plan at this point I was beyond the statute of limitations. medical malpractice is hard to prove. when my new dr went in to remove the plated from my radius the screws were so stripped it took so much time to remove them they had to only remove the one. it took 4.5 hrs and the same on the ulna side my dr said I thought ur bone was going to break because the screws were so stripped. I am writing this because, she damaged me. she took no responsibility and she lied to me. I respected her and trusted her. and she destroyed my wrist and there is nothing I can do about it. except maybe prevent this from happening to someone else..

she injectect cotozone that damaged my fore findger and surgery perofed did not offer immediate relief. she then aburtly wrote a report to work comp that I was permanent starioinaly eventhoug I was still under treatment, she was not the agree upon medical examiner, she then abrublty let the state of California to Florida, The back up doctor told me that he could not reverse her rating of permanent stationary.. I got screwed. To this date my fore finger is still numb

She is an excellent Dr. I would recommend her to everyone.
