I scheduled an appointment for an infection and an annual pap smear. The doctor told me they were going to do a culture to see what my discharge was. They only performed a yeast culture and did not bother to see if the problem was bacterial and said I needed to come back in after the yeast culture was negative. In addition to that, I called 6 weeks after my initial appointment to check on the results of my pap smear because I did not hear back and low and behold they lost the sample and said I needed to come back in. The audacity of these people to think that everyone has all the time in the world to come in for multiple appointments and that taking off work is just so simple. So highly disrespectful of the patient's time and money. I paid the co-pay for the visit and was told I could not get a refund because the visit took place. They also processed the claim for the pap smear and got a pay out from the insurance company for a sample that was never processed. Red flag anyone?
