We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Erin Gilbert at Gramercy Park Dermatology. Dr. Gilbert is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in skin cancer prevention & treatment, cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery.
An Honors graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Gilbert was named Chief Resident in Dermatology in her final year of training. She performed her internship in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Gilbert also holds a PhD in Neural and Behavioral Sciences from SUNY Downstate School of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Gilbert’s lifelong appreciation of art enhances her professional skills and sensibilities. Prior to earning her advanced degrees, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and phi beta kappa with a B.A. in Art History from Barnard College of Columbia University. Dr. Gilbert applies her highly trained eye for aesthetics to her cosmetic work at Gramercy Park Dermatology.
The recipient of many …honors and awards including Alpha Omega Alpha, Dr. Gilbert has been published in numerous journals and periodicals, and is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She resides in Brooklyn with her husband and young son.
