Dr. Erin Schotthoefer, MD

Dr. Schotthoefer was very professional. She always took the time to answers my questions. She performed a procedure to correct my strabismus with excellent results.

Dr. Schotthoefer is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and competent and kind. My daughter who had a serious brain tumor diagnosed at age five potentially compromising her optic nerve had been her patient since infancy. A few days after the tumor was diagnosed she reached out personally asking how she could help and arranging us to be seen in her office immediately. She has since celebrated every victory with us while closely following her eye health. She is one of the best in the area hands down. Her staff is good with kids and extremely efficient. We will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Schotthoefer is great if you have something complex or more serious. For regular eye routine exams their office is VERY expensive and they rush you through. We had some mistakes made and they don't seem to care, they just charge again and again. Office is very nice, but the customers are paying for it. They are always very behind and you get the sense they are rushed.

I noticed a negative review for Dr. Schotthoefer... I was surprised because she is always professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I noticed in the review they referred to Dr. Schotthoefer as a "male". I am assuming they have confused her with another doctor. My goal is for the reviewer to notice the error and correct it. I don't want people thinking she is a poor doctor.
