Dr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas and completed a residency in dermatology at the University of California-Irvine. She received Mohs fellowship training at Yale University, and after serving on the dermatology faculty there and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, she returned to Colorado. Dr. Welch is an assistant clinical professor for the dermatology department at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She also serves on the executive board of the Colorado Dermatologic Society. Dr. Welch serves as a scientific advisor to acne product and sunscreen manufacturers has been quoted in Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Health, Cooking Light, WebMD, and CNN.com.

Dr. Welch and her staff have been very accommodating in scheduling follow up appointments regarding a melanoma she found last year. She always explains what she finds thoroughly and offers options for resolutions. I'm very fond of her as a doctor and her opinions, as well as her staff. I would recommend her (and have!)to anyone I know and care about.

Dr Welch is a kind, caring and very personable doctor with vast intelligence in her field. She takes the time to explain AS WELL as listen, which is so important when developing a solid and trusting healthcare relationship.

Love Dr. Welch! Had an emergency arise and she fit me into her busy schedule. Couldn't be more pleased with the care I received. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Welch is amazing! Kindest doctor I have seen in a long time and she caught my skin cancer early. The entire staff at the Stapleton center are wonderful, would highly recommend this dermatologist!

Dr. Welch is absolutely amazing. Best dermatologist I personally have ever seen. She is very kind and listened to all of my concerns, and she is very knowledgeable in her field of medicine.
