Doctor Clevinger Rocks! He was the only doctor in the Maritimes that knew anything about Syringomyelia and treated me for it....The cysts in my spinal cord have played havoc on my body and he did every test he knew of and we have a bit of relief. Thank Gawd he came to Canada instead of staying in Maryland!! I would travel from PEI to wherever he is... Now, his Assistant Melissa has to update her personal skills though, she's rude on the phone, to your face, never smiles, gives excuses when she doesn't need to ....She's the one that doesn't pass the tests results off to you, she's slow at sending the referrals off aswell; you have to stay on her and call to keep her on her toes.

I suffered from a rare neurological disease. Other medical professional just screwed around. Dr. Clevinger diagnosed it and sent me on my with a continuous fantastic therapy.

Dr. Clevinger spent a lot of time with my husband over many months. Little testing was done. When DH ended up in the hospital due to symptoms, we were told Dr had "suspected the diagnosis all along". Since that hospitalization, DH has been unable to work. Due to Dr Clevinger's slow response to insurance company information requests, we have had no income for five months. Too bad...

Dr. Clevinger is very busy. I feel that he has taken on more patients than he can care for. I felt like I was just given a prescription and shoved out the door without a diagnosis. I went through many tests and he did not have an answer as to what the testing results meant. ??? I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of having the tests, other than wasting money. As for the Front Desk person, she is Rude and Grumpy. Time to look for another Doctor.

This is a very small office with only one support person. If she is out sick or on vacation, there is not even an answering machine. It is impossible to get in touch with the office. The message says to go to the emergency room. This is a very expensive way to get a prescription refilled. It was easier to go to Rockville and find a larger practice with more support.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, never on time. Poor bedside manner. Does not make you feel comfortable, if you have something wrong and he cannot figure it out he just lets you go and doesn't keep on searching. Staff it not friendly, office is not clean. Don't go to him.

Dr. Clevinger has been good to my wife during her recent health issues. My concern is perhaps not a direct reflection on Dr. Clevinger, but I was completely disappointed in the lack of recent support from his staff.After traveling 1-1/2 hours for an appointment with another specialist, my wife requested the results from a recent MRI. Dr. Clevinger's staff stated that she was the only person available and was overloaded. The specialist needed the results and his staff contacted Dr. Clevinger's staff ten times with no success. That is completely unexceptable and unprofessional.Perhaps Dr. Clevinger needs to either hire more staff or better coordinate the work schedule of his employees. I cannot tolerate the failure to provide support to patients by ignoring their requests, especially when the information is required to diagnosis a patient's disability.

Dr. Clevinger provides a calm and relaxed environment to discuss medical issues. He gives you his full attention and plenty of time, calmly explaining his prognosis and answering any questions. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than anticipated, but well worth it as you know you will get his full attention when your time comes. He was the first Dr. in years to give me relief of my symptoms.
