I fell and ruptured my left quadriceps tendon. I went to GVH and was assigned to Dr. Cope. Two botched surgeries, was sent home the same day experiencing severe bleeding and fell that night due to inappropriate leg bracing, re-rupturing but didn't realize it. 9 months later a 3rd. surgery, after he consulted with Penn Medicine and got one of their surgeons to assist - because he clearly didn't know how to fix this. An allograft was placed and I was placed in a leg cast for the 2nd. time for 10 weeks. By this time, I had been unable to work for 9 months and was facing a 3rd. round of physical therapy, was forced to retire and start Social Sec. early because I was unable to drive or work but still have a mortgage and bills to pay. My situation was truly so bad, depressing, and seemingly hopeless that I seriously contemplated suicide. 6 years later and I had to have surgery again last Dec. due to a latent infection/suture abscess at the site. Dr. Cope literally ruined my life and I feel… it's my God-given duty to steer as many people away from potential similar horrible misery at the hand of this bumbling, inept "doctor" as possible.

Dr. Cope repaired my torn meniscus in my knee and he was spot on. So articulate, personable and knowledgeable about the knee. From the very first and quick I might add visit to the last I had excellent care. He explained everything along the way and I felt very good in my decision to have it repaired. In no time I felt my knee got back to normal and maybe even better! Highly recommend!

Approximately 21/2months ago I entered Dr. Copes office in severe pain preventing even ambulation. He did an X-ray and treated me at the time for a hip issue-relief within 2 days. I returned in 2 weeks to be evil for a back issue . Dr. Cope spent time explaining to me issues with back not r/t hip that continued to prevent comfortable ambulation and sleep. we discussed surgery option since other modes of treatment was ineffective . I asked”do you think this will help ?” His response-I wouldn’t tell you about it if I thought differently.. Had surgery and thanking God for sending me to Dr. Cope. I am progressing with my ambulation and best of all pain free and able to sleep. His bedside manner was professional , pleasant and thorough. I feel blessed!!

Dr. Cope has assisted me in dealing with the inflammation in my hands. He has performed four surgeries on both my hands and he has always been professional and kind. His has always taken the time to answer my questions and I'd highly recommend him to anyone based on my multiple experiences with him over the last two years.

I want to thank him for doing an outstanding job on my spinal fusion lumbar surgery. I would recommend Dr. Cope he made my life feel so much better I had no infection after surgery he was kind and reassuring he even prayed with us before surgery which meant so much. He is an amazing doctor. Thank you Dr. Cope.

I felt very rushed while in the exam room. I did not get answers to my questions and I will be going elsewhere. I found dr cope to be very unprofessional and rude as well as rushing me through my appointment.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor, causing my recovery time to go from a normal 8 to 12 weeks, to 64 weeks... many in much painI am now under the care of Rothman Institute and dearly wish had gone there in the first place to have my knee repaired.

Very happy with my care from Dr. Cope, Upper Bucks Orthopedics and Grand View Hospital. Convenient, Close and Compassionate Care! I have been there a number of times and am very satisfied with the medical help my family and I have received there.

My son broke his fibula and this doctor couldn't have been more thorough, professional and accurate. The injury healed well. We have used that office before a number of times and except for an occasional waiting room delay the care at Upper Bucks Orthopedics has been exceptional.
