8 months to make an appointment just to see him for 8 mins. Then I got a colonoscopy (2 more months later) and he came to see me for 30 seconds afterwards to say, "you have hemorrhoids", laugh and then just says we're going to try some mesalamine enema and walks away... Find another place. The staff needs major improvements too. Then because the nurse was SO SLOW to get me medication. I told her in MyMich-MyChart to do her job. Don’t say anything negative or upsetting they will cry and cancel you as a patient. They don’t care about humans.

Dr. Darko is the best! He is a very kind and caring physician. He will do whatever it takes to diagnosis you and will do everything he can to correct the issue!

Dr. Ofori-Darko has always acted arrogant, uninterested, and indifferent to my concerns. The office environment was lacking as well, often felt as though I was bothering them. I continued to go despite this because it is the only office of its kind in this town and I did not want to drive out of town. I decided that it was worth the drive, when they refused to call in a prescription to help with my bleeding ulcerative colitis. Their office professional, Marcy, told me that their medical staff refused to contact me after I had waited three days for a call. Told me to see my family doctor or wait for my appointment that they had scheduled three months after my first call. This is the worst that I have ever been treated by a medical office. I had been going to this office for 20+ years! NEVER AGAIN. It's worth a long, long drive to avoid this place!!!!

He is one of the bestest Drs I have ever had..He is my liver Dr and he tells it like it is and he;s very accurate...I love the Man,,,

I have had the same symptoms for the same diagnosis for over three years. Yet, every time I call Dr. Ofori-Darkos' office to try to get a prescription to alleviate these often painful symptoms, my wait is usually 24 to 48hrs before a prescription is called in for me. I also feel that while I have no problem getting answers to the questions I ask, there is very little information giving me.
