Dr. Rehnke converted my K Pouch to a BCIR in 2009,after a decade of K pouch malfunctions and revisions. I can think of nothing that Dr. rehnke could have done differently. He was open and explained procedures and risks. He was compassionate and responsive to my every need. His skill and ability to think quickly to resolve issues is stellar. Every step of the way he has insured I had the best chance of an excellent recovery. Dr. rehnke has quite literally kept me alive on numerous occasions. Given that my disease is due to congenital abnormality I've seen a large number of gi surgeons. Not one even comes close to comparing to Dr. rehnkes knowledge, skill, dedication, compassion and commitment to providing his very sick patients their best chance of recovery.

Dr. Zis an excellent surgeon and honest. He explains everything that can go wrong and he did my BCIR surgery 10 years ago and I still trust him 100%. Surgery is a risk at any time please remember that he does surgeries on unhealthy patients and does a fantastic job. He is kind, considerate and above all honest. No other surgeon I have had has ever been as upfront about the complications and I'll things that can happen. He is the best!

To Whom it may concern, It is due to Dr. Rehnke's hard work and dedication at his program at Palms of Pasadena that I owe my life.  I had suffered needlessly for a decade and it was only by the hands of Dr. Rehnke and his life changing surgery that I was given a new lease on life and a renewed health.  Dr. Rehnke is not only an extremely talented and educated surgeon who has saved thousands of lives he is also a kind, caring, compassionate man.

I have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Rehnke, I was home, and up and about the very next day. I am due to have another surgery, and I am so grateful that he will be my surgeon again. Thank You Dr. Rehnke for being caring, meticulous, and following up on everything that has been needed. This Doctor, actually took money out of his own pocket so that I could buy my prescription, what Doctor have you ever heard of that has done this? I think he is truly blessed.

Dr Rehnke is a great surgeon ,very caring patient ,caring,and informative. He converted my Koch pouch of 37 years to bcir. I had two previous surgeries in 2010 and 2011 by another surgeon both times the valve failed. On August 2017 Dr Rehnke converted to a bcir . Although I am still recovering every thing is going well. With God grace and helping power everything will be great.. Thank God for leading me to Dr Rehnke and his wonderful team. I also have to give a big shout out to the nurse staff at Palms of Pasadena hospital

I had a hernia repair by Dr Rehnke that ended up being way more invasive than originally explained. The surgery was 6 years ago and I am still not recovered from it. I absessed a couple days after surgery. I went to Dr Renhke and he gave me antibiotics. I asked him for follow-up and he said I didn't need it. I asked for rehab since I had ab reconstruction and he denied it. I have very serious back issues since this surgery. I would never recommend him OR Palms of Pasadena

He is a doctor who will see you through to the end & ,even if he doesn't have all the answets answers ( no one does) will make sure through consultations with othersothers, come to arrive at the plan after all. So if you have already started with him, just stick with him he will see you through itl your case will be resolved.
