I saw Dr. Bartsich many years ago for a myomectomy open surgery. From the minute I met him I knew I was in the best hands. He is highly regarded at New York Hospital. My huge, huge fibroid was taken out and i saved my uterus. I was at the gym in three weeks. He has confidence coupled with compassion I have never seen in any other doctor. He was worried I had no one to talk to about my situation so he asked one of his former patients to reach out to me for some support. She did and I feel tons better. What a great team of health professionals!! Oh also, he was off to Europe after the surgery and called me while he was on vacation to see how I was doing!

If it was not for Dr. Bartsich and God almighty I would not be here today!

I was unfortunately diagnosed with uterine fibroids in my early 20's. I listened to my GYN at the time , which was a very bad idea, and waited to have any surgical intervention . I consulted 3 surgeons on Long Island who were considered to be the best. They all would not agree to operate on me unless I signed a consent to have an emergency hysterectomy if needed during surgery. I was horrified and devastated because I was going to be married in a year and I have always wanted to be a mother. I absolutely would not sign this consent. So I began my search for another surgeon and consulted 3 more surgeons in Manhatten. From the moment I met Dr Bartsich I knew he was the one. He was professional and reassuring. He reassured me I would not have to sign any such consent and I would most definitely not need a hysterectomy. He has perfected this surgery and there is no one else I would trust. My surgery took much longer than expected. Dr Bartsich walked me into the OR and was there with me… the whole way. He even went out to reassure my fiancé that all went well and that he was happy I chose him as it was a challenge to put my uterus back together, but because he is so experienced, he was able to do it and the surgery was a success. If I had chosen any other surgeon I would have most definitely ended up with a hysterectomy. Because of Dr Bartsich's impeccable skill, I am now the mother of a 2 1/2 year old boy and 8 month old boy!!! The surgery was such a success that during all my ultrasounds during pregnancy the ultrasound techs couldn't believe I had such an extensive surgery, because there was no scar tissue visible at all. I'm absolutely forever indebited to Dr Bartsich. He is the best!! Don't look anywhere else for the best surgeon to remove uterine fibroids.

I have seen six OBGYNs last year because I had a fibroid, several of them are top doctors in New York. I feel very lucky I found Dr. Bartsich to be my surgeon. The most important reason is his expertise and 40+ years' experience after a friend of mine told me she had a successful surgery and highly recommended him. My surgery went very well. He is the best and most responsible doctor I have ever known, visiting me in the hospital and calling me after I went home every day to make sure I was recovering well. He always answers my questions very patiently with his expert knowledge and is always very caring and gentle. This is another reason I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. He and his caring nurses are exceptionally kind and warm-hearted. Going to his office is like visiting good friends. I trust him very much and highly recommend him to my friends.

My experience with Doctor Bartsich was phenominal. I have a 13 month old beautiful girl because of his skill and expertise as a surgeon. His kindness, knowledge, and expertise is unfounded. The hospital he is affiliated with is the best in New York. You would not want to go elsewhere. His skill with such a delicate surgery and sensitivity to your needs is unfounded.

Dr. Bartsich diagnose me with endometriosis and has been my doctor since, for over 20 years Wonderful and caring Nurse Margaret, whom been with Dr. Bartsich for nearly 20 years and is very caring. I completely trust him and his nurse Margaret. Clean office pleasant bedside mannar and very caring. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bartsich removed my uterine fibroid many years ago and I've been going to him ever since. I totally trust him and was impressed with both his bedside manner when I was at the hospital and also the follow up weeks later.

Dr Bartsich is the most thorough and caring doctor I have every dealt with. He is completely engaged from start to finish. You will never feel alone or that you are asking too many questions with him.
