Esder Shin, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Health Nurse Practitioner who offers a full range of assessment and treatment strategies to address mental, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Esder specializes in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications for patients who need help with issues including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, and eating disorders.The cornerstone of maintaining good health is psychological health. Esder identifies each person as his or her unique self and takes on a collaborative approach working as partners to achieve optimal mental health. She trained in psychiatry at urgent care psychiatric facilities including Exodus, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, UCLA, and outpatient private practices.
