Dr Takes Time to Listen

Dr. E was absolutely amazing. Her office is calm and relaxing and I feel like she spent about 30 minutes with me. I explained to her all the things I was feeling and she explained some of the options it could be. I have NEVER had a doctor be in a room with me for more that 5 minutes and she really listened. I know that is something small to some people, but to me it is huge. I felt like she actually cared about my well-being. As a woman, it's hard not to feel like we aren't always being heard, but she made me feel comfortable.

The doctor seems to be fine, but getting Rx filled is a nightmare... and there is no way to contact ANYONE that is actually in this doctor's office!... all you get is a main switchboard and 'we'll send a message'... that never gets there or is ever answered! It is a shame that the service you get during the appointment ends there. This office is SUPPOSED to specialize in senior care.... but you can't call them - I guess they expect the seniors to contact them online?

My experience here was unfortunate. On several occasions I pointed out to the nurse and the Dr. that I was having severe reactions to the medication that she had prescribed and that It was not working at all. She persisted in telling me to take it and I suffered extreme consequences. Not to mention that personal incidents happened to me here to say the least, that were very unprofessional . I felt uncomfortable returning for appointments, as this was the second Dr. I sought for family medicine , thinking this one would be much better. Lesson learned.

My 72 year old Mother is a patient, 2 years ago, she became ill and things went from bad to worse quickly. She could not get help, no return calls and ended up in the hospital for 4 days with near organ failure! You'd think lesson learned but alas, my Mother returned with what was believed and diagnosed as a bad cold...x-rays show pneumonia again, no follow up, no return phone calls and guess where my mother is now? Down at the office IN PERSON with pneumonia trying to get help because no one returns calls or follows up! My late Father was a Physician, this is completely unacceptable! Needless to say, i'm hunting down referrals. Extremely disappointed.

This office does not believe in doing what they should. I had to call repeatedly to get a referral sent then they could not fax my mri to the specialist. I had to go to the imaging facility and pick it up the morning of my appointment when the specialist office called to say they never got it!!
