Dr. Estil August Vance III, MD

Extremely intelligent, experienced, up to date on cutting edge treatments, kind, fun, and a great listener. Dr. Vance has been my transplant dr. for almost 12 years now, and I am greatly appreciative of how hard he works for each one of his patients. He never rushes through an appointment and will stay and answer every question you have. I always look forward to seeing him and his excellent medical staff.

As anyone who has experienced a bone marrow transplant knows, you really get acquainted with your physician. Dr. Vance is fantastic on every level. He is highly trained and educated and also his bedside manner is impeccable. When you find a doctor that can laugh with you through such a terrible ordeal, you've found a good one. He's an interesting, quirky guy with a gift for seeing the big picture. He has been a true blessing in my life.

Dr. Vance uses excellent scientific as well as clinical judgements. He has been a real god-send during my two bouts with lymphoma. Caring and thorough - I can easily accept tardiness when I'm quite sure that he is attending to other patients with as great a need as mine

...........and he's so freakin' cool!

The only real problem I had with him was I have waited over 3 hours at some visits. This is just unacceptable. He is NOT punctual at all!!
