Dr. Ethan Quan Hong Nguyen, MD

I can tell you from first hand experience that Dr Nguyen is on of the finest dermatologist in riverside County. He is highly skilled and if you ever need MOHS surgery (highly skilled surgery for skin cancer) he is the BEST. I don't know where all these bad reviews come from, don't listen to them. He is smart and highly skilled in what he treats, he is the best. My husband and I are long time patients

Shows no interest in the patient - seems only interested in maximizing appointments and stuffing his wallet off health insurance. This doctor wanted me to choose one of three available procedures to remove basil cell - isn't he the doctor??? Should at least provide a recommendation, right? Receptionist was terrible - she couldn't wait for the day to be over. If you are interested in getting the job done right, choose another doctor. The first thing I had to do when I arrived at the doctor's office was to prepay for my appointment - I had insurance, make a nice income and have a great credit score.......why???

He is an excellent doctor

I have seem many dermatologists in the Riverside area and Doctor Nguyen was by FAR the most professional. DR. Nguyen was very helpful for treating my problems and spent so much time with me, I felt like I was his only patient for that day!I recommend this doctor to anyone in Riverside/Corona CA

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!! He overbooks his schedule and only cares about doing as many procedures in the shortest amount of time and charging you as many times as possible. On my first visit, which was only a consultation, I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and then another 20 in his office, and when he finally decided to grace me with his presence he was in such a hurry that I was not able to ask everything I wanted to. I didnt feel comfortable expressing my concerns because he seemed like he wanted to run out of the room. When I was scheduling my next appointment I specifically asked the receptionist how long I would have with the doctor and when she told me 30 minutes was fixed for procedures I was relieved that I would be able to talk to him calmly. I was the first appointment after he returned from lunch, but he was late and again I ended up waiting 45 minutes. He spent about 4 minutes on my procedure and ran out. His nurse was trying to explain how to… take care of it when he came back into the room and started setting up for his next appointment and kept asking whos next? and whats next? I felt like I was being thrown out and my concerns were never addressed. They gave me a piece of gauze and I left his office still bleeding. I ended up with a bump and puffiness a few days after the procedure so I called their office and they told me that I was supposed to follow the instructions which they NEVER gave me, and apply a cream that they never mentioned. Never again!
