Dr. Ethel Sultana Andrews, MD

We took our ADHD/ASD daughter to see Dr. Andrews because she was one of the few that were covered by our insurance (and sadly, of the few, she was the highest rated). We were extremely let down. She does not listen, our appointments are always rushed, yet she is always running behind. Of four appointments, we had to reschedule three (only that was not rescheduled was the initial). Then for our last that was rescheduled (supposedly because she had a lunch conference) she was 45 minutes late (out of our 1 hour session). This didn't mean she would be running behind for the rest of the day though. She just had us in and out in a matter of minutes. Her office staff is incompetent... we were supposed to have a letter drafted, she took a huge folder we had put together that was very detailed, and the letter never got written. We were told we would need to schedule an appointment to have the letter written and we told them that was what our last one was for. The staff asked us to hold,… said they checked the file and there was nothing in the file. I told her to have the doctor call us back, which when she did, she was very apologetic and said she did have everything she needed and that she would write it and send it out to us. The office staff called again to ask where they should send the letter, and when we received it, it was completely wrong (referenced the wrong program, etc.), so it was unusable and due to the delay, we missed our deadline for its intention. Would recommend you look elsewhere, payout out of network costs would be well worth your while...

Call someone else if you need a doctor. Their phone help is completely unprofessional, rude, and argumentative. I called to because I was referred to them by my health insurer for telepsychiatry. The person who answered the phone, first off, answered with, "Hello." She then became upset that they were listed as doing telepsychiatry. When I kindly suggested that they contact my insurer so they can remove the tag (and thus avoid more phone calls regarding telepsychiatry) the receptionist became became hostile. Your business starts with those one the front lines that great your customers and patients. If this is what Dr. Ethel Andrews finds acceptable, then it's safe to assume her care for patients is just as poor.

Only seems interested in putting my daughter in a inpatient facility, claiming she has made no progress, even though there has been plenty but she refuses to listen and gets hostile if you do anything but agree with her. Office keeps poor records and keeps trying to give the wrong prescription with "no record" of the correct prescription, even though it had been prescribed the previous month. Stay away!

Could not agree more with previous review, after 3 yrs of very successful work we lost our daughters doctor, she was the replacement, what a waste of time and money, all she wanted to do was to totally take her off her ADD meds, that was the only thing she ever talked about, then she tried to tell us that my daughter was not growing correctly and she wasn't gaining enough weight, when we asked her what the last 3 readings for her weight and height, we new she'd grown almost 5 inches over the last year, she hadn't even recorded them, she's a fraud!!!! We in the process right now of finding a new doctor right now.
