Poor excuse for a "doctor" I would rather be treated by a veterinarian.

Absolutely in the wrong profession. Rushes, doesn't listen, rude and condescending.

I highly recommend Dr. Szekely. Although the appointment times may run a little later she is a great doctor. She truly does care about her patients and takes the time to get to know them. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor before.

Takes the time to explain things. Always seems to know the source of the problem and what to do about it.

I really appreciate Dr. Szekely because she really cares about her patients. She pays attention to details and notices and helps with things that other doctors did not. I really appreciate someone who takes the time to listen and always finds a way to help.

Dr. Szekely has caused a very positive change in my life. She herself has to take medications that can cause weight gain to be a major issue yet she took the time to share with me that she is successfully using software applications herself to lose considerable amount of weight and improve her own health. She did this to inspire me to do the same, and it is working. She introduced me to these applications that track my calories and other dietary numbers as well as a pedometer application that automatically logs calories in the diet program for me so that I can be inspired to get on my feet and improve my overall health through a better diet and exercise. I really appreciated her taking the time to show me these real solutions to my problem instead of just telling me that I am overweight and need to lose weight without helping me on how to do it, which is what my prior doctors have always done. And she is doing it herself which is a great inspiration to me.

Dr. Szekely is easy to talk to and really listens. She detected a cancer that nobody else noticed and saved a life. We will never forget her for what she did for our family.

HORRIBLE excuse for Doctor.... Very poor bedside manner. A phone call at 1am to discuss my son (She told me she had a young child sleeping and she would not discuss as to not wake her child. Later told me "I would not dream of calling mine or my childs dr at 1am over something so insignificant ) which ended with his hospitalization for a week & a PICC line inserted. Not one follow up call period.

I would like to think that she is well-intentioned and is trying to be a good doctor. However, I find her insensitive, arrogant, and unable to listen. I had hoped that she would turn out to be a good, long-term choice as my teenage daughter's primary care physician, but her bedside manner and attitude of suspicion precludes that. On the first visit she accused us of drug seeking and later, when I tried to get a referral to a doctor for another problem, she told me flat out that she doesn't believe me. During the time she has been my daughter's physician, my daughter hasn't had any medical problems that required diagnosis, so I can't rate her skills in that area. I like the office staff and the nurse practitioners at Chelmsford Family Practice and on the couple of occasions when we had to come for an acute illness my daughter and I were actually hoping we'd see the NP instead of her.

I hope anyone that reads these reviews has the good sense to give Dr. Szekely a chance to prove that she is an excellent doctor. Doctors are human and may have some days that they are not the usual "bubbly" personality. But I find Dr. Szekely to be very qualified and compassionate. I hope you give her a chance. She deserves that much.
