Dr. Eva Monica Janiszewski, MD

Dr Janiszewski has been our family doctor for seven years. Her office has an old fashioned family friendly feel. We can get appointments quickly. We eventually moved our four children from a pediatrics office, to Dr. J, because we trust her with their medical treatment and privacy.

I met with Dr. J for a physical. She seemed knowledgeable and capable. But not warm and fuzzy. Very serious. I had to come back to have a biopsy done. Before the procedure I told her about two other biopsies done in the same area awhile back and how they didn't heal properly. She said, "I'm not sure why they did that." Then told me that it wouldn't happen with her. The procedure went smoothly and she did a fine job. When I returned to have the sutures removed, I asked her if they were ready and she said they were. That night while I was sleeping the wound opened and started to bleed and burn. I called her office and the message said their office hours on Friday were 10 am to 1 pm. I called right at 10 am, no answer. I called two more times before the receptionist answered. I explained my concerned and she said she would have Dr. J return my call. When she called me back she told me that she was not in the office and would not be back for four days. She explained she was in a meeting… all day today. She does not have a backup doctor. She does not have a nurse. She does not see you over the weekend. If she is in a meeting on a weekday, you are out of luck. She suggested I go to urgent care. I have three young children and waiting in urgent care with them, paying a large copay for some steri-strips seems excessive. I expressed this to her and she did not care. My pediatrician also has a private practice and he will come in over the weekend for something like this. If he is on vacation, he has a back up doctor. It is absurd that Dr. J's back up plan is urgent care. If you're looking for someone who is there for her patients' needs, she may not be the doctor for you.

Seriously Dr. J the most wonderful doctor ever. I just transfered both my children from their pediatrician to her. They used to go to coastal kids which was the worst service ever. My kids are sick and Dr. J talked to me on the phone right when I called, I've been waiting for 3 days to have a doctor call me from coast kids. You don't see excellent service like this anymore. Overjoyed we found her! Small town feel. Front desk staff is so so nice. I highly reccomend this office.

I hate going to the doctor but Dr. J will immediately remove your fear and apprehension. She is smart, thorough, laid back and takes a lot of time with each patient. Her diagnosis are correct. I would trust her decisions and feel condident putting my health in her hands.

Easy getting same-day appointment. Came in with high blood pressure and a low heart rate. Current blood pressure medicine had risk of lowering heart rate, and even though my heart rate was already low when I came in, she doubled my dose. I ended up in the ER with a very low heart rate and elevated blood pressure. ER doctor took me off the dose Dr. J put me on and added a 2nd drug to my regimen. Office was nice, doctor was friendly, but I feel her clinical knowledge is not up to par.
