Summary
Eva Lean, MD, is a radiation oncologist who has been practicing since 1984. Dr. Lean believes in treating the patient rather than the disease, and puts the emotional needs of her patients foremost in her approach to care. Dr. Lean specializes in the treatment of breast cancer using new modalities, including accelerated partial breast irradiation. She also focuses on optimal radiation technologies and treatments for gynecological cancers, skin cancer, primary lung malignancies and head and neck cancers. She works closely with medical oncologists, surgeons and pathologists to optimize the type and timing of radiation therapy, and has a special interest in the intraoperative treatment of breast cancer.
