Dr. Eva S Vertelney, MD

I always received the best care from Dr Vertelney. In 2016 during an office visit she recognized I was in septic shock from a gall bladder infection. She had me transported from her office to the ER where doctors / nurses were waiting ~ I was in kidney and liver failure. I spent 3 days in ICU and another 5 days in the hospital. Dr Vertelney, along with medical professionals in the emergency room, saved my life. I can never say enough good things about Kaiser and the care I have received.

My mother has been the hospital for a week she's 86 years old , in the ICU, where people are very sick, she has a lung infection. So Dr. Eva Vertelney was covering for my moms doctor and when she entered the room she started to make make changes, remove her from oxygen, remove the heart leads that monitor the heart, Dr Vertelney was pretty much trying to discharge her from the hospital, while my mother was still sick with her lung infection, very rude, didn't answer any questions, and putting in a bunch of orders to remove stuff from my mother. She shouldn't be a Doctor.

Dr. Vertelney has been my doctor for over 6 years and I have always found her very professional, up to date on the latest research and technology. She is also very nice and sympathetic. I would highly recommend her.

I was surprised to read a couple of negative reviews of the Doctor. She was very professional. I find her demeanor to be very calming and sensitive. I came in with a set of vague symptoms and after examining me, she sent me for further tests. After the results came in, she called me and told me what had been found. I was put on a treatment and now I have been feeling well. What more could you ask for? And yes I would recommend her to others. In fact she treats my husband and he too is very satisfied.

I was always tired, had trouble losing weight and just felt lousy. Dr. Vertelney examined me and sent me for blood tests. They found various things that were too low, I was called by Dr Vertelney and she put me on a treatment plan and after a few weeks I started to feel great. I appreciated that she took the time to explain everything to me. She is also the doctor for my husband and sister and they have always been very happy with her help.

the negative reviews I have seen here seem ludicrous. Probably a disgruntled patient . The Doctor saw me on time, helped me with my problem and was very professional, By the way she was nice too.

I was in the hospital at Kaiser in Woodland Hills. The hospitalist was Dr Vertelney. My husband was in the room when the Dr. came in.m He and I both agreed that she had liquor on her breath. I was in only over night. My husband has complained the the medical association and we both thought this was wrong and she should get help. She will never be around my husband or kids or myself as a Dr. ever again.

I was told she was a great Dr. She smelled of alcohol and was very rude with me. I have reported this to the hospital and the state board.
