Dr. Evan Allen English, MD

My son was treated by this medical group. When I got the bill I pointed out that they had not submitted it to my insurance company, UMR. They said that they would take care of it. then I started getting collection letters. Avoid this practice if at all possible.

My wife was having pains in her lower right side. Long story short, she went to the ER and saw Dr. English because she feared she had apendicitis. My wife is very scared of needles and surgery and Dr. English made it even harder. He made statements such as "the surgeon may need to cut you open from side to side" when my wife asked about the surgical procedures. He also made a bet with the nurse about the diagnosis. The nurse said it was likely an ovarian cist. Dr. English simply said "I Win" when returned with the results. Never once did he try to calm my wife. My wife ended up leaving against medical advice and not having the surgery because of Dr. English's behavior. After a dose of antibiotics the pains she had went away and it seems like she never needed surgery after all.
